The Sykes-Pickavant Brake Bleeder redresses the problem of brake fluid replacement for the professional. Fluid replacement becomes a one-man operation that can take less than fifteen minutes to complete. This is achieved using a peristaltic pump to force fluid through the vehicles brake system at a pressure on 1.4 bar. If 1.4 bar is exceeded a pressure cut out switch trips out the pump whilst maintaining the pressure. One advantage of this is that any leakage of brake fluid, due to damaged or worn seals causes the pump to trip back in periodically to maintain the pressure. Warning the operator in the process. The peristaltic pump has the advantage of working without direct contact with the fluid thereby removing any chance of contamination. Our new product has a visible 5 litre fluid reservoir and requires a 12 volt power supply from the vehicles battery. The body of the product is made from fluid resistant stainless steel and is fitted with a handle and wheels for mobility around the workshop.
